Six crews tackle fire in derelict hotel on Blackpool Promenade

A fire broke out in a four-storey former hotel on Blackpool sea front.

Six fire engines from Blackpool, Bispham, South Shore, Fleetwood and St Annes were called to the old Hacketts York House on Queens Promenade at the junction with King Edward Avenue at 5.13pm.

Firefighters used four breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire.
