Bailiffs brought in at South Shore travellers site
Bailiffs have been brought in as travellers remain on a South Shore car park despite promises to move on.
A spokesman for Blackpool Council said yesterday that landlords at Lockheed Court car park had been told a group of travellers, who moved onto the site at the weekend, would leave by 6pm.
However, caravans and vans remained on the site as of 8.30am today.
The landlord has been informed and bailiffs have been instructed with immediate effect.
