Blackpool MP's blast over new student board members
A Blackpool MP has hit out at the Government for failing to represent colleges on a pivotal  new education board.
Labour’s Gordon Marsden said the important colleges sector will be left out by the decision not to appoint a further education representative to the board of the new Office for Students.
The 15-strong board includes the director of the New Schools Network, Toby Young, who has come under fire this week for his controversial tweets.
