Could this iconic bike be in your garage?
This custom-built Captain America motorcycle, a replica of the one from the cult film Easy Rider, has been upcycled from a standard motorbike at a Gorton Street garage.
Once a £2,500 Harley Davidson Sportster, it has been rebuilt by the team at AR Harley and Sons, to become a replica of the Captain America cycle worth around £17,500.

But the difference now is affordability.
Nick Isles, boss at AR Harley and Sons, said: “We’ve been customising bikes for a few years and sending all over the world.
“This one is different because it’s got a different engine that makes it affordable. Many bikes we do reach around £25,000 but this one is more than £15,000.
“There are thousands of the original models, the Harley Davidson Sportster, so anyone who had one and wanted to customise it could have this made.”

He added: “We get a great reaction to it - it’s an iconic bike. They’re not built for power or speed, it’s about the aesthetic so you could just get it to put in the house to look at, and there’s plenty who would.
“It’s absolutely unique. We’re so proud of it.”
Still though, the enthusiast is unable to say if this is his favourite ever bike.
He said: “They’re all cool and each bike is different with its own attributes.”
