Driver in dressing gown was over limit
Samantha Owers started to cry when an officer approached and said: “I have been an idiot.”
Owers, 24, of Ullswater Road, Thornton, pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol.

Prosecutor, Pam Smith, said a police patrol saw a Rover parked in the middle of Norcross Lane, Cleveleys, with its hazard lights flashing on May 28 at 1am.
As the officer approached she could see Owers was wearing a pink dressing gown. A breath test showed 108 micrograms of alcohol in her body – 35 is the limit.
