Second suspected arson attack on van in Fleetwood
Firefighters were called out at 3.19am this morning (Friday, March 27) to reports of a van on fire in Rede Avenue.
The fire service believe the white Transit van, which had been parked on the road, has been the target of arson.

Hide AdFirefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus, tackled the fire with a hose reel for around 35 minutes.
The incident has been reported to Lancashire Police and is under investigation.
It is the fourth suspected arson against vehicles in Fleetwood in just 24 hours.
A fire service spokesman said: "The cause of the fire is thought to be suspicious and a joint investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway."

Hide AdIt is the latest in a recent spate of suspected arson attacks on vehicles in Fleetwood.
Shortly after midnight yesterday (Thursday, March 26), a van was torched in the car park of St David's Church in Larkholme Lane.
The van had been used by West View Community Association to deliver food parcels to those in self-quarantine due to coronavirus.
Fire crews from Fleetwood tackled the fire for around 40 minutes before the burning vehicle had been safely extinguished.

Hide AdShaun MacNeill, of West View Community Association, said: "It is just very sad that at a time when the community of Fleetwood is coming together to help those in need, someone can do something like that.
"But the service will continue and we will continue to help those who need it."
