But practice managing director Andrew Milne said it would also have state of the art digital x-ray equipment, ultrasound and endoscopy, plus provision to house a mobile MRI scanner which could visit up to twice a week.
The building will also have accommodation for staff a chemotherapy and radio-therapy area and a lecture theatre.
Mr Milne said: “For one reason or another it has taken quite a long time to get built, we actually started planning it more than seven years ago, so it will be exciting for us all to move into a building that has been purpose built for vets.

“It offers seven times the space we have at the cabins at present and so we are all absolutely delighted to be moving into such wonderful premises.”
Besides the new two storey building, the 30-year -old practice has sites at Beach Road in Cleveleys and Warrenhurst Road in Fleetwood which will continue.
Thornton-based Clement Dickens and Son was the main contractor and the building was designed by Thornton based architect Eric Roberts and Gavin Lemon of GL Design, Glasgow.
