Fylde campaigners hail roses fracking walk
They walked from the Kirby Misperton fracking site to the Preston New Road site to highlight the issue.
Campaigner Claire Stephenson said: “We were delighted that our anti-fracking friends from Yorkshire committed themselves to a 120 mile walk from their county to Lancashire, to stand in solidarity with us.

Hide Ad“Yorkshire Councillors and Green Party members, including Natalie Bennett, were made very welcome upon their arrival at Maple Farm where the Nanas and Frack Free Lancashire provided an afternoon tea and much-needed foot spas after their long trek.
“The afternoon was completed with a symbolic tree planting ceremony with soil from brought from Kirby Misperton, where fracking is also planned.
“The uniting of two counties gives us strength on the week we are taking the government to court.”
