Literary festival returns to resort
The event, run by Blackpool Council’s arts and libraries service, is in its 11th year.
Several writers will visit the resort to discuss their work during the festival, which runs until Friday.

Hide AdThe event launches tonight with a Night of Crime at the Art Deco Café in Stanley Park.
Crime author Elly Griffiths, whose fictional detective Harry Nelson hails from Blackpool, is hosting the launch and annual fundraiser event Mystery and Illusion: The Art of the Crime Writer’.
She will be joined by authors Sharon Boston, Alex Marwood and Denise Mina who will explore the ‘Illusions of Crime’.
The event aims to encourage budding authors and will offer the chance for people to get their work published.
