Man arrested after break-in
A man is in custody at Blackpool Police Station after officers were called out to a burglary in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police were alerted to a break-in at the Little Rainbows Day Nursery, on Springfield Road, between midnight and 1am, after a the nursery’s burglar alarm went off.
Officers found a man in a nearby alleyway in possession of property believed to have been stolen from the nursery.
Entry was gained to the premises after the glass panel of a door was kicked in.
A spokesman for Blackpool Police said at lunchtime today: “A person is in custody and is helping us with our inquiries.”
