Police find 'significant' amount of drugs after stopping car in Poulton
A driver stopped by police for using a mobile phone at the wheel was found to have drugs in the car.
Officers searched the silver Corsa after becoming suspicious and found a 'significant amount of drugs', according to a Twitter post from the Lancashire Roads Police account.
In a post at around 8.30pm on Saturday, officers said: "This car was stopped in Poulton due to driver being on mobile phone.
"Something aroused our suspicion when dealing with the driver. A search recovered a significant amount of drugs."
