School choir make teacher's wedding day extra special
The couple tied the knot on December 29 at St Kenigern’s Church in Blackpool surrounded by their family and friends.
It was the third time Jaimie, 31, a primary school teacher and Garry, 27, a welding engineer, had planned their wedding but with hectic lifestyles, unexpected circumstances and the birth of their daughter, they had to put their plans on hold. So this time, it was third time lucky.

“It was a huge surprise!” said Jaimie.
“I thought people had popped round to wish us a nice time then all of a sudden he was down on one knee! It certainly made the holiday more special.
“The day itself was amazing.
“We wanted to get married at St Kentigerns as it is the school Carter goes to and it is so beautiful.”
The bride arrived at the church from her parents’ house with her dad in a Beauford convertible from Onward Wedding Cars.

“It made the service so special and unique,” said Jaimie, “there wasn’t a dry eye in the building, with most tears coming from the groom for majority of the day! And I was bursting with pride. “
After they had exchanged vows, the couple and their guests headed for the beautiful setting of the Great Hall at Mains in Poulton for their reception.
“The venue looked stunning and we loved our entrance into the wedding breakfast with live vocalist Andy Morely singing Michael Buble Everything and That’s Amore,” said Jaimie.

The partying continued throughout the night with more vocals from Andy Morely, finishing off with a routine by guests to Penny Arcade.
Garry said: “It was the best day ever and even though a long time coming I’ve finally married my bestest friend.”
Jaimie added: “We had an Oscars Premier Night with red carpet and invited our closest friends to show the video of the day produced by Grant Harvey.
“It was very over top but that made it even more special!
“It really highlighted how wonderful the whole day was and and we honestly couldn’t be happier."
