Taking time for tea to boost hospice funds
The event took place at The Bridge Club, Poulton, and included stalls selling cakes, preserves, jewellery, bric-a-brac and a raffle.
It raised more than £693, which will go towards helping Bispham-based Trinity Hospice carry out its vital work – providing care and support for people with terminal illness and life-limiting conditions across the Fylde coast.

Hide AdThe friends organise regular fundraising events for the hospice, including a monthly coffee morning.
Beryl Moran, from the Poulton Friends of Trinity Hospice, said: “The May coffee morning had another excellent turnout.
“It was a very enjoyable morning and raised £693, thanks to a lot of hard work by the group members and the loyal support of our regular customers.”
The next coffee morning will take place on Saturday, June 24, at Poulton Methodist Church, Queensway, between 10am and noon. There will be tea/coffee and biscuits, as well as bacon barm-cakes on sale. There will be stalls offering preserves, clothes and toiletries, as well as a raffle.
