Season ticket holder Luca Lowe, who attends Blackpool games with his Mum and Grandad, was chosen to play defender Marc Bola.
It came after his mum Kim Winston got in touch with the club on their Facebook page, replying to a post asking for volunteers to take on the on-loan Middlesbrough man on Friday night.

But the end result proved immaterial for Luca, who plays as a goalkeeper for his local Sunday league side Clifton Rangers.
“He cried when I told him he was going to be playing Marc on FIFA, he couldn’t believe it,” his mum Kim told The Gazette.
“He was just so happy that he got to play with him.
“Normally he hates losing but he said ‘I’m just so lucky to play against him and not a lot of people can say they scored two goals against Marc Bola on FIFA.

Kim revealed Luca cried for a second time when he discovered he’d be receiving a signed shirt from the players.
