You can move to Dubai without leaving your current job - here’s how

If the excitement of working from home is beginning to wear off and you’re yearning for a change of scenery, then you could swap the UK for Dubai while still working in your current job.

The city, located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is launching a new programme for remote workers, which will allow you to continue in your current role, but work from the popular, luxury destination.

‘Work from home’ in Dubai

Those who are accepted onto the programme will be entitled to all of the city's services and have access to co-working spaces.

The programme costs around £219.80, and you will also need to pay for medical insurance with “valid UAE coverage”, as well as a processing fee.

The virtual working programme is valid for one year and you will get access to all required services, including telecoms, utilities, and schooling options. You can also connect to a global hub and a skilled workforce, composed of more than 200 nationalities.
