Jordan Rhodes’ 92nd minute header earned the Seasiders a well-deserved point at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile, following a poor start to the campaign, the Robins head into tonight’s game on the back of their first league win of the season.
Their 1-0 victory over Cambridge United followed a draw against Derby County prior to the international break.
Neil Critchley discussed a number of key topics ahead of the fixture at Bloomfield Road.
Here are some of the main talking points from his press conference:

2. Do you look at the draws against Charlton and Oxford as points dropped?
“Certainly at Charlton because we were in a winning position, but Saturday felt like a point gained because we were in a losing position in injury- but on reflection it was the least we deserved. For us to go to Oxford and produce a performance like that should give us enormous confidence.” Photo: CameraSport - Andrew Kearns
3. Do the positives outweigh the negatives in the last few weeks?
"It's a long season and I've always said it will take time for this group to come together and improve. I think we've seen signs of that. We've shown what we are capable of, and the team is getting stronger, but we've got more to give. I'm confident and positive about what I've seen but I always want more." 4. Was the game at the weekend another step forward?
“It shows the capability we’ve got in the group. You get a feeling sometimes that the messages are starting to sink in and things are starting to come together. We’ve still got a lot to improve- I had plenty of notes of things we could’ve done better, but there were signs of progress.” Photo: CameraSport - Andrew Kearns
5. What are you expecting from Cheltenham Town?
"The new manager going in there has made a difference- you can see that their performance levels have improved. They're playing with more purpose. They've got four points in their last two games and that'll give them some confidence. They'll come to our place looking to continue that run, and we'll be facing a different team to what we would've a couple of weeks ago." Photo: Pete Norton
6. Could you rotate your side?
"Possibly because we've got five games in 15 days but you can never take your eye off the next match. You have to pick the team and prepare for the fixture right in front of you. You can't look too far ahead, it's about the here and now. We've got players who are in form, and I always pick the team that gives us the best chance of winning." Photo: CameraSport - Andrew Kearns
