The Seasiders open the new season by hosting Exeter City on August 8 before the visit of Bolton Wanderers in the League Cup just three days later.
Seventy of the Football League’s 72 teams were in the hat for the first round, only Norwich and Newcastle were exempt as they finished highest in the football pyramid - despite their Premier League relegation.
