Hide AdStockport-born Camps, who has made more than 200 EFL appearances for Dale, told The Gazette: "I'm buzzing to finally get it over the line and I can't wait to get started next week.
"There were a lot of things that attracted me to the club, from speaking to the gaffer (Joey Barton) and the way he wants to play, where he wants the team to go and how he wants me to play in that team.
"Seeing the training ground, which is better than anyone's I've seen, I just think it's the perfect club to come to, it's great.
"At Rochdale we haven't had a set training ground. We made do with what we have.
