Wembley's no more than Blackpool deserve, says goal hero Gnanduillet
The striker played a crucial role in the Seasiders’ play-off semi-final win over Luton Town, coming off the bench to bring his side level on aggregate at Kenilworth Road and pave the way for their stoppage-time winner.
The tall Frenchman says he was overjoyed to help guide Blackpool to Wembley, where they will face Exeter City on Sunday.

“This is why football is a beautiful game because we were 3-1 down on the night but came back to make it 3-3 and win on aggregate.
“We have to celebrate properly but we can’t forget to prepare for the final because we are going there to win.
“I’ve been in the play-offs before with Chesterfield and lost (in the League One semi-finals two years ago). Hopefully this time we will win and get promoted to League One.”

Hide AdGnanduillet’s goal at Luton was his first for the club since December and only his sixth all season, but it will go down as his most important strike to date.
“I’m happy to score a crucial goal like this,” he added. “I’ve done my job, so it’s not a big deal but I thought we played very well.
“It was a tough game against a good team. Luton beat us twice in the league but in the play-offs everyone can beat everyone.
“This year has been quite difficult for me, so when you have the chance to play you have to take it. We’re going to Wembley and for me it’s a beautiful thing, so I’m happy.”
