The newly-created figure was seen for the first time at the Central Promenade attraction, with the Liverpudlian star making the trip to meet his likeness.
He joins other comedy stars, such as Paddy McGuinness who was unveiled earlier this month, the Two Ronnies, Russell Brand, Alan Carr and Graham Norton.

It took expert sculptors several months to painstakingly mould, sculpt and perfect John’s wax figure, which was first announced for the Blackpool attraction in December. The figure is dressed in a suit donated by John, one that he wore during his UK tour last year.
John has established himself as one of the nation’s favourites, following the successful first series of The John Bishop Show on BBC One. He’s had numerous sell out UK tours, best-selling DVDs and a chart topping autobiography ‘How Did This All Happen?’, which published in 2013.
John said: “Can I borrow this and take it home? I don’t think the missus will know the difference. If you can put batteries in and make it walk and talk I can tour in two places at once.”
