DAYS OUT: Family fun with The Three Musketeers
The Dukes outdoor walkabout family show in Williamson Park, Lancaster, this summer is The Three Musketeers – and it is promising to be a real treat.
It runs in the picturesque park from July 3 until August 18.

Hide AdWritten by the Olivier Award nominated playwright Hattie Naylor and directed by Sarah Punshon, this new adaptation of Alexandre Dumas’ classic swashbuckling story will feature Lucy Parkinson as D’Artagnan.
Country bumpkin D’Artagnan comes to the big city with a big dream: to become a Musketeer.
But when he accidentally becomes embroiled in the sinister schemes of Cardinal Richelieu, it doesn’t seem likely he’ll survive long enough. Especially as this would-be Musketeer is hiding a huge secret: he is really a she.
The audience will join D’Artagnan as she teams up with the legendary Three Musketeers – Porthos, Athos and Aramis – in a death-defying quest to save the life of a loving queen.
