Driver tests positive for cocaine
A driver who was pulled over by police who suspected he should not have been on the road tested positive for drugs.
The black Peugeot was stopped by a traffic patrol in Hawes Side Lane this morning.
Police had been acting on community intelligence that the car was being driven by a disqualified driver.
Following the stop the driver was tested for drugs using a roadside kit.
The sample showed cocaine in his system.
The car was seized by police.
