Firefighters stop small fire spreading
Firefighters stopped a small from spreading in a St Annes home.
Crews were called to an address on Poulton Avenue at around 9.30pm on Friday after residents saw smoke coming from a light fitting in the loft.
Firefighters isolated the electricity supply and equipped with breathing aparatus used a hosereel jet to extinguish a fire in the roof void.
There were no casualties in the incident.
